The BONFIX aerator faucets are manufactured for tapping water and are all KIWA approved. This is the version with chrome plated knob and check valve.

Application

The BONFIX aerator faucets can be used in drinking water pipes as universal connection valves for e.g. washing machines and dishwashers and as taps themselves. Other uses are only permitted, depending on pressure/temperature and medium, after written approval from BONFIX B.V.

Technical data

BONFIX aerator faucets are made of first class brass which are polished chrome plated and equipped with an aerator (DA) and optionally an integrated swing check valve (EB). The BONFIX aerator faucets can be used in situations with a working pressure up to 1000 kPa (10bar) and a temperature up to +90ºC.

Function of the aerator

The aerator prevents (dirty) water from being sucked back into the water supply system in case of underpressure. Allowing air from outside into the pipe creates a column of air in the pipe, separating the drinking water from the contaminated water.
