Description
This compression fitting is suitable for several applications, such as heating systems, gas and water pipes.

The BONFIX compression fitting consists of 3 parts: the housing, the compression ring and the compression nut. This is delivered fully assembled so that it can then be easily connected to the pipe. The compression ring is clamped between the two bores of the compression nut and the housing. By tightening the compression nut, the ring will deform first on the side of the housing, because there the angle of the housing is smaller than that of the nut. By further tightening, the other side of the ring will also be clamped in the nut. As a result, the high pressure on the ring ensures a hermetic seal. As a result, these compression fittings from BONFIX can be used for various purposes, such as gas, water and central heating installations. BONFIX compression fittings are equipped with a brass compression ring. After using the compression fitting, the compression ring cannot be used again.
