Description
The Flat Plate Solar Collector works on a smart and efficient principle to convert solar energy into usable heat. This solar collector consists of a metal casing with a glass plate at the top and a colored absorbent plate in the middle. The sides and bottom of the collector are insulated to minimize heat loss. Sunlight passes through the glass plate and is absorbed by the absorbing plate, converting solar energy into heat energy. This heat energy is transferred to the liquid flowing through copper tubes attached to the absorbing plate.
